Sachin Shaan (featured comedian for a DISH Network comedy channel, 2013 New York Comedy Festival) is a rising New York City-based comedian who regularly performs and hosts shows – he has appeared at all of the city’s top venues.

Sachin has appeared onstage with the biggest names in comedy – Jim Gaffigan (5 Netflix specials), Judah Friedlander (NBC’s 30 Rock), Todd Barry (Netflix’s “Crowd Work Tour”), Hasan Minhaj (The Daily Show), and Russell Peters (Outsourced). In particular, Sachin has repeatedly performed with Gaffigan, Friedlander, and Barry as they are regular drop-in guests at Sachin’s hugely-attended monthly show at EastVille Comedy Club in New York City – Gaffigan and Friedlander even follow Sachin on social media.

In 2016, Sachin was one of only eleven stand-up comedians featured at the Peoples Improv Theater’s year-long stand-up residency program. Each resident comedian rotated in a weekly show, hosted all shows in a particular month, and was the headliner for a certain month. In August 2016, Sachin successfully headlined four shows.

Sachin’s TV-clean comedy derives entirely from his personal experiences ranging from his Twitter namesake nemesis, high school reunion nightmares, and his love of acupuncture. Frequently an emcee, Sachin is a highly energetic host who uniquely does clean and effective crowd work.
